The Short Version
Your subscription data stays on your device. TrialHero does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal subscription information. We do not have analytics, advertising, or user tracking.
Data Storage
All subscription data you enter is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud container — only you can access it.

Service Catalog
TrialHero downloads a catalog of known subscription services (names, categories, and cancellation guides) to help identify and manage your subscriptions. This catalog is fetched from our servers and stored locally on your device. No personal data is sent during this process — the app only downloads public service information.
Smart Detect Feature
The Smart Detect feature checks which apps are installed on your device using URL schemes and queries your App Store transaction history via StoreKit 2. This processing happens entirely on-device. No data is sent to any server.
Screenshot Import
When you use the screenshot import feature, images are processed on-device using Apple's Vision framework (OCR). No images or extracted text are sent to any server.
Purchases
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not process or store any payment information. Apple manages all transactions.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push notification servers are involved.
Third-Party Services
TrialHero does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use:
- Google Analytics or Firebase
- Facebook SDK
- Any advertising networks
- Any crash reporting services
Data Export
You can export your data as a CSV file at any time from Settings. This file is generated locally and shared using iOS's built-in share sheet.
Children's Privacy
TrialHero does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
