Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
At the top of the Settings screen, tap your name to access your Apple ID settings.
Tap Subscriptions. You'll see a list of all active and expired subscriptions.
Find and tap Apple Music in the list of active subscriptions.
Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted. Your Apple Music access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Your playlists are saved to your Apple ID and will be there if you resubscribe. However, you won't be able to play songs from the Apple Music catalog. Any music you purchased from iTunes is yours forever.
Yes. Go to account.apple.com, sign in, and manage your subscriptions. You can also cancel via the Apple Music app on Windows.
Downloaded songs from the Apple Music catalog are removed when your subscription ends. Songs you purchased from iTunes remain.
Yes. If you have Apple One, canceling Apple Music separately isn't possible — you'd need to cancel or change your Apple One plan.
